We are seeking an experienced Finastra Summit Developer with strong expertise in Summit Back Office systems used for interest rate derivatives, credit derivatives, currency products, and currency options.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of the Global Markets Operations platform, implementing innovative solutions to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and support business growth.
Design, develop, and maintain technical solutions within the FINASTRA Summit environment.
Participate in the evolution of system architecture, leveraging new features offered by Finastra Summit.
Manage projects and maintenance activities within the Summit Back Office framework.
Provide Level 3 technical support and troubleshoot system issues to ensure business continuity.
Draft clear and detailed technical specifications and documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the following back-office processes:
Trade Lifecycle Management
Payments
Confirmations
Accounting
Reporting
Clearing
8+ years of experience in software development, preferably within financial services or capital markets.
Hands-on experience with FINASTRA Summit V6.x software.
Strong programming expertise in C/C++.
Proficiency in SQL (preferably Oracle) for database operations and optimization.
Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-department coordination.
Experience with Global Markets Operations or similar financial systems.
Understanding of trade lifecycle and financial instrument processing.
Exposure to system integration and automation in banking environments.
