THE ORGANIZATION: MESCO Education Society (MES) was founded in Mumbai (India) in the year 1977 to promote quality education amongst general public with special focus on the poor and marginalized people. MES is conducting 2 English Medium High Schools & Junior College, 2 Vocational Training Centers, 7 English Medium Nursery Schools and ECCEd course.
THE ROLE:
1] To develop, monitor and evaluate all donor acquisition and donor relation activities for MES.
2] To Focus on promoting Educational Aid Schemes for Crescent and Radiant Schools' students and other institutions under MES and getting new donors for the same.
3] To Build and develop successful partnerships with local and foreign donors / funding agencies and corporates.
4] To send project reports/ Funding Appeals and utilization reports and updates to Donors, well-wishers and funding agencies.
5] To maintain and update Donors Data Base.
6] To Prepare Institutional program related documents/updates including projects' profiles, sponsored students profiles, fact sheets and success stories.
7] Travel to the field as needed for the Fund Raising meetings with the donors / Funding Agencies / Corporates.
8] To Assist in identifying new funding opportunities.
9] To Co-ordiante with the Admin. Team to design and create promotional content.
10] To write, edit and review all publicity content .
11] To Handle any PR related issue that may arise.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Any Graduate with minimum 5-7 years of work experience in a fundraising role. Excellent written and spoken English Skills and relationship-building skills. Must have good knowledge of MS Excel , MS Word, PPT etc.
