Job Description
PappyTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant with basic knowledge of import-export accounting and documentation. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations while assisting with import-export transactions, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance
- Record purchase, sales, and expense entries in accounting software.
- Prepare bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Maintain financial records and support month-end closing.
- Prepare MIS reports and accounting schedules.
Import–Export
- Verify and maintain import/export documents, including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Bill of Entry (BOE)
- Shipping Bill
- Record import costs such as customs duty, freight, insurance, and clearing charges.
- Support compliance related to GST, DGFT, and Customs.
Requirements
- B.Com degree.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting.
- Basic understanding of import-export procedures and documentation.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Good understanding of GST and invoice processing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally.
- Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of foreign currency transactions and import costing.
