Roles & Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain the FrothDesk native mobile app (React Native, TypeScript, React Query) for field technicians, HSE reporting and manager approvals.
2. Build offline-first data capture and background sync, camera / photo and GPS geo-tagging for HSE incident, hazard and near-miss reporting, push notifications, deep linking and biometric / SSO authentication.
3. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate Figma / XD designs into pixel-perfect, accessible components.
4. Integrate with FrothDesk's Python services and OTOBO core via REST / GraphQL; handle sync, conflict resolution and secure local storage.
5. Implement state management, offline support, push notifications and deep linking in React Native apps.
6. Write unit and integration tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Detox).
7. Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps) and agile ceremonies.
8. Optimise performance for low-end Android devices used in the field and ensure a smooth experience on iOS 14+.
Requirements
1. 2–3 years total experience in frontend development.
2. Minimum 1 year of commercial React Native experience (published apps on Play Store & App Store).
3. Solid TypeScript experience (we write 95%+ of new code in TS).
4. Experience with React Native CLI and Expo (we use the bare workflow for enterprise apps).
5. Git version control and branching strategies.
