Junior Accountant :-
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing accounting transactions, assisting with tax compliance, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update accounting records in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
Record and verify purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and journal vouchers.
Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Process invoices and ensure accurate documentation of financial transactions.
Support TDS calculations, deductions, and related compliance activities.
Assist with GST documentation and return preparation.
Maintain petty cash records and expense reports.
Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding payments and account queries.
Assist in audit preparations and provide required financial documents.
Prepare MIS reports and other financial reports as required.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com preferred).
1–4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
Understanding of TDS, GST, and basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Good communication and organizational abilities.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
Experience with bank reconciliation and ledger management.
Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
Strong time-management and multitasking skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
