Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Core Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance
- Develop and implement scheduled maintenance plans.
- Inspect machines regularly to detect and address wear and tear.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems.
- Perform or oversee repairs on faulty equipment quickly and efficiently.
- Use diagnostic tools and engineering principles to find root causes.
- Equipment Upkeep
- Ensure machinery operates within manufacturer specifications.
- Monitor performance data and make adjustments as needed.
- Replace worn or defective parts as necessary.
Technical and Operational Responsibilities
- Installation and Commissioning
- Oversee the installation of new machinery or systems.
- Conduct testing and calibration during commissioning.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain logs of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
- Generate reports on equipment status, downtime, and incidents.
- Compliance and Safety
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols (e.g. OSHA, ISO).
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits.
- Ensure that machinery and systems meet industry standards.
Strategic and Collaborative Roles
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify areas for efficiency improvement or cost reduction.
- Suggest upgrades or retrofits to extend equipment life.
- Collaboration
- Work with production, operations, and safety teams.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
- Training and Mentoring
- Train operators and junior technicians on correct machine usage.
- Share best practices for equipment handling and maintenance.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
