QA Automation Engineer – Cybersecurity Responsibilities
- Develop and execute unit testing activities.
- Develop quality assurance standards and processes.
- Deliver high-quality, tested, and secure code using a range of architectures, tools, and frameworks to automate internal processes.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to deliver insights into security risks and threats. Be responsible for monitoring measures to improve processes for quality standards.
- Work closely with other team members to improve existing projects.
- Maintain standards for reliability and performance.
- Create quality measurements to track improvement in projects.
- Ensure projects meet expectations and requirements.
- Create reports documenting errors and issues for remediation.
Knowledge and Experience University degree in Engineering, MIS, CIS, or a related discipline preferred.
- 3+ years of QA experience.
- 3+ years of experience with one or more of the following technologies:
- Programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Java, etc.
- Python Django and Vue.js (or comparable frameworks).
- Strong attention to detail. Software development experience.
- Experience interacting with and coding against APIs. Adherence to best practices (PEP 8) regarding appropriate design, security, and code quality.
- Understanding of database schemas and relational data design theory, with proficiency in database and web development. Experience with provisioning tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Experience with technologies including Linux, Bash, Python, Pytest, Django, Vue.js, Node.js, MySQL, regular expressions, string parsing, SDLC, and project management
