Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Inventory Intern to support our Inventory & Procurement team. This internship is ideal for freshers and students who want to gain hands-on exposure to inventory management, stock handling, and warehouse operations within the drone manufacturing industry. You will work closely with the team to learn practical inventory processes while supporting day-to-day activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Support
- Assist in maintaining stock records for raw materials, electronic parts, mechanical parts, and consumables.
- Support daily and weekly stock counts under supervision.
- Help update GRN and stock-in/stock-out entries.
- Learn and follow basic FIFO and storage practices.
2. Warehouse & Material Handling
- Assist in organizing the inventory room, racks, bins, and shelves.
- Help with labelling and categorization of components.
- Support the team with basic material handling and dispatch preparation.
3. Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with production and assembly teams to provide materials as guided.
- Assist in basic BOM verification under supervision.
- Flag low-stock items to the reporting manager.
4. Reporting
- Support preparation of basic daily/weekly stock reports in Excel.
- Assist in maintaining simple records of material availability.
Key Skills Required
- MS Excel proficiency.
- Good communication skills.
- Time management.
- Basic understanding of BOM, GRN, stock-in/out.
- Knowledge of Tally Prime (preferred).
Qualifications
- Freshers and students are welcome; no prior work experience required.
- Willingness to learn and a keen interest in inventory & supply chain operations.
