Role description
Handling all the production activity along with safety measure to ensure production from a section of underground colliery.
Ensure production of raw coal from specified section as per the targets in ABP.
Ensure adherence to all applicable Safety standards or procedures by sub-ordinates or contract employees.
Ensure compliance of The Mines Act, C.M.R. Mines rules, statutory permissions, other statutory rules and regulations.
Plan and implement measures to ensure compliance to KPI relating to cost and quality as per ABP.
Drive improvement related initiatives within the department.
Comply to all the needs for any project related activities in his section, undertaken by the department.
Maintain all data related to statutes, contract billing and other activities falling under your purview.
Skills
Technical Competencies
Knowledge of Face operations, drilling, blasting, strata support. in UG coal mines.
Safety hazards and mitigation measures in underground working.
Thorough understanding of Mines Act, CMR and related acts.
Working knowledge of surveying.
Understanding of improvement framework in TSL.
Working knowledge of MS Office, SAP, etc.

Other details
Degree in B.Tech in Mining Engineering from AICTE approved college or UGC Approved universities , with First Class or Second Class certificate of Mines Manager competency (Coal Unrestricted) issued by DGMS.
