Job Summary:
We are looking for a Quality Engineer with strong Six Sigma knowledge to improve manufacturing processes, reduce defects and variation, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies
- Lead quality improvement projects using the DMAIC approach
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects, rejection, rework, and customer complaints
- Monitor process capability, quality KPIs, rejection, and scrap levels
- Use 7 QC Tools, SPC, FMEA, MSA, CAPA, and 8D for quality improvement
- Conduct process and product inspections and audits
- Develop and maintain Control Plans, SOPs, inspection standards, and quality documentation
- Coordinate with Production, R&D, Maintenance, and Supplier Quality teams
- Identify process variations and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Drive Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare quality reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review
- Support ISO and other quality-system audits
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of Six Sigma and DMAIC
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Expertise in SPC, FMEA, MSA, 7 QC Tools, CAPA, and 8D
- Good statistical and analytical skills
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Minitab
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Qualification & Experience:
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Quality Engineering
- 3–8 years of experience in Quality Engineering / Process Improvement
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
- Black Belt certification will be an added advantage
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in automotive, electronics, consumer appliances, engineering, precision manufacturing, or other manufacturing industries
- Proven experience in reducing rejection, improving process capability, and achieving measurable cost and quality improvements
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
