Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to plan, design, supervise, and manage construction projects. The Civil Engineer will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare project estimates, budgets, and schedules.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Supervise site activities and monitor construction progress.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and clients.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation.
- Verify measurements, quantities, and bills related to project execution.
- Ensure efficient utilization of materials, labor, and equipment.
- Monitor project risks and implement corrective actions when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil).
- Valid engineering certification/license (if applicable).
- 1–5+ years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or related projects.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
- Understanding of structural design and site execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with estimation and quantity surveying.
- Knowledge of STAAD Pro, Revit, or other engineering software.
- Familiarity with building codes and construction safety standards.
Working Conditions
- Combination of office-based work and site visits.
- May require travel to project locations as needed.
