Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the cardiac catheterization laboratory before, during, and after procedures.
- Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures such as coronary angiography, angioplasty (PCI), pacemaker implantation, and peripheral vascular interventions.
- Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, including fluoroscopy and ECG monitoring systems.
- Prepare patients for procedures by verifying patient identity, positioning, and ensuring informed consent is available.
- Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection prevention and radiation safety protocols.
- Prepare, handle, and maintain catheters, guidewires, balloons, stents, and other interventional devices.
- Monitor patient vital signs and promptly report any changes to the physician.
- Assist in emergency procedures, including CPR and code blue situations when required.
- Ensure proper documentation of procedures, equipment usage, and inventory.
- Maintain adequate stock of consumables and coordinate with the stores department for replenishment.
- Perform routine quality checks and basic troubleshooting of Cath Lab equipment.
- Clean, disinfect, and prepare the Cath Lab for subsequent procedures.
- Follow hospital policies, accreditation standards, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Cardiac Care Technology
Pay: ₹12,825.60 - ₹50,000.00 per month
