Job Summary
We are looking for dynamic Tender Executives (Junior / Senior) who can independently manage the tendering process from identification to submission. The role requires hands-on experience in preparing bids, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with tender requirements for both government and private sector projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Tender Identification & Evaluation
- Identify and track relevant tenders through government portals and client websites
- Review tender documents, scope of work, and eligibility criteria
- Evaluate technical and commercial feasibility before participation
2. Bid Preparation & Submission
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids (online & offline)
- Ensure all documents are complete, accurate, and submitted within deadlines
- Maintain proper documentation and records of submissions
3. Vendor Coordination & Costing
- Float enquiries and obtain quotations from vendors
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQ comparisons, and pricing analysis
4. Pre-Bid & Client Coordination
- Attend pre-bid meetings and handle client queries/clarifications
- Conduct site visits if required
- Assist in logistics and material planning
5. Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare rate analysis with appropriate cost and risk factors
- Submit tender review reports for internal approvals
- Track tender status and follow up with clients
6. Technical Understanding
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Ensure bid submissions align with technical requirements
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Commerce, or relevant field
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in tendering (Infrastructure / Steel / EPC preferred)
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Government & Private sector tender processes
- Experience in online and offline tender submission
- Good understanding of costing, BOQ, and vendor negotiation
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and documents
Key Competencies
