Offer Developer – Gas & Chemical Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities
· Develop technical proposals, system concepts, P&IDs, layouts, and preliminary engineering designs.
· Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, material take-offs, and commercial offers.
· Analyze customer requirements, specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
· Develop conceptual solutions for Ultra-High Purity Gas Distribution Systems (GDS) and Chemical Distribution Systems (CDS).
· Review and select suitable piping, valves, fittings, equipment, and system components.
· Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams for technical and commercial inputs.
· Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations and prepare comparative statements.
· Review technical specifications and ensure compliance with applicable project and customer requirements.
· Identify and evaluate technical, commercial, and execution risks during the proposal stage.
· Work closely with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations teams.
· Support technical discussions with customers and provide clarification during the quotation and proposal process.
· Maintain proposal documentation, costing data, technical calculations, and commercial records.
· Ensure proposals are technically accurate, commercially competitive, and submitted within the required timelines.
Required Technical Skills
· Strong knowledge of Ultra-High Purity (UHP) Gas Distribution Systems.
· Knowledge of toxic, corrosive, flammable, and specialty gas systems.
· Understanding of Chemical Distribution Systems (CDS).
· Knowledge of gas and chemical piping systems, valves, fittings, and related components.
· Understanding of cleanroom protocols and semiconductor manufacturing environments.
· Ability to understand and develop P&IDs, layouts, and system concepts.
· Good understanding of engineering specifications, BOQs, material selection, and costing.
· Knowledge of technical proposal preparation and commercial estimation.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
Experience Requirements
3–5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following industries:
· Semiconductor
· Solar Cell
· UHP Gas Systems
· Chemical Distribution Systems
· Industrial Gas / Process Piping
· Cleanroom / High-Purity Utility Systems
Candidates with experience in technical proposal engineering, estimation, tendering, or pre-sales engineering will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a technically competent engineer with hands-on knowledge of UHP gas and chemical distribution systems and experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals for semiconductor, solar, or electronics manufacturing projects.
