About the Role
Nyx Solution is looking for a detail-oriented Software QA Tester who will be responsible for testing our web applications, mobile applications, AI agents, automation workflows, and client-specific software solutions.
The candidate will ensure that every product is properly tested before it is shared with the client and will identify functional, usability, performance, and integration-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the complete client requirement and expected software workflow.
- Test web applications, mobile applications, dashboards, AI agents, and automation systems.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and basic performance testing.
- Test software across different browsers, devices, screen sizes, and user roles.
- Test integrations with systems such as WhatsApp, Tally, ERP, SAP, APIs, email, and third-party platforms.
- Create clear test cases and testing checklists for every project.
- Identify, document, and report bugs with screenshots, videos, and exact reproduction steps.
- Maintain a proper bug-tracking sheet or project management system.
- Verify that bugs have been resolved before approving a release.
- Test client-specific scenarios using realistic business data.
- Conduct final quality checks before demonstrations, deployments, and client handovers.
- Coordinate with developers to explain and prioritise issues.
- Maintain records of tested features, pending issues, and release status.
- Assist the support team in reproducing issues reported by clients.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of software testing concepts and processes.
- Ability to understand business workflows and convert them into test scenarios.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, web applications, and mobile applications.
- Ability to clearly document bugs and communicate them to developers.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, Postman, Google Sheets, or similar tools.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to independently take ownership of product quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in manual software testing or quality assurance.
- Experience testing SaaS platforms, AI agents, automation workflows, CRM systems, or ERP integrations.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, API testing, or automated testing will be an advantage.
Key Performance Indicators
- Number of critical bugs detected before client delivery.
- Reduction in client-reported issues after deployment.
- Percentage of releases tested before delivery.
- Accuracy and completeness of bug reports.
- Average time taken to test and approve a release.
- Percentage of reopened bugs.
- Quality and coverage of test cases.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who does not simply check whether a button works. They should understand the complete business workflow, think from the client’s perspective, identify possible failure cases, and take personal ownership of ensuring that the software works correctly before delivery.
Pay: From ₹240,000.00 per year
