Job Title: CNC Setter – CNC Turning (Fanuc Controller)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a CNC Setter for our CNC Turning operations. The candidate will be responsible for machine setup, tool setting, offset management, program verification, and ensuring quality production on Fanuc-controlled CNC machines. Fresh candidates with relevant CNC training and a strong willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC Turning machines as per production requirements.
- Install and set cutting tools, tool offsets, and work offsets.
- Load and verify CNC programs before production.
- Perform first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Monitor machining operations and make necessary offset corrections.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and process sheets.
- Measure components using Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety procedures.
- Troubleshoot basic machining and tooling issues.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to achieve production targets.
Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant CNC machining certification.
- Knowledge of CNC Turning operations and Fanuc controllers.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
- Knowledge of tool setting, offsets, and machining processes.
- Freshers with CNC training may apply; experience is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of CNC Turning Centers.
- Understanding of machining parameters, tooling, and quality control.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
