Job Summary
The Department Manager is responsible for managing the overall operations of the department, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, maintaining visual merchandising standards, managing inventory, and leading the department team to deliver a high-quality shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Service
- Achieve department sales and profitability targets.
- Ensure exceptional customer service at all times.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and product-related issues professionally.
- Promote upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales.
Team Management
- Supervise and motivate the department staff.
- Prepare staff duty schedules and allocate daily responsibilities.
- Train new employees on product knowledge, customer service, and company policies.
- Monitor employee performance and provide regular feedback.
Inventory Management
- Ensure adequate stock availability.
- Coordinate stock replenishment with the warehouse.
- Conduct regular stock verification and minimize stock loss.
- Follow company SOPs, safety procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments for smooth store operations.
- Analyze sales trends and customer preferences.
- Report inventory shortages, damages, and operational issues to the Store Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience in retail, preferably Mens Section
- Experience in team handling and department management.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
