Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC drilling machines to drill holes in sheet metal, plates, and fabricated components.
- Programming & Setup: Load CNC programs, adjust machine parameters, and select appropriate tools.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret engineering drawings, hole patterns, and technical specifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect drilled components using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor troubleshooting of CNC drilling machines.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and maintain a hazard-free work area.
- Documentation: Record production data, machine logs, and report deviations.
Skills & Competencies
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CNC drilling operations, tooling, and machining processes.
- Precision: Ability to achieve tight tolerances and maintain consistent quality.
- Problem-Solving: Quick troubleshooting of machine errors and drilling defects.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with production engineers, welders, and fabricators.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work with heavy materials and long shifts.
Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in CNC drilling or machining operations.
- Familiarity with machining materials (steel, aluminum, sheet metal, etc.).
Work Environment
- Manufacturing unit specializing in fabrication, supply of materials, anti-skid platforms, gripstrut, metal ladders, scaffolding, formwork, and weapon parts.
- Exposure to CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and heavy-duty manufacturing processes.
Pay: ₹33,000.00 - ₹41,000.00 per month
