Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused Quality Executive to ensure that all raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet the company's quality standards and food safety requirements. The candidate will be responsible for implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable food safety regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & Quality Control
- Inspect incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products as per quality standards.
- Perform in-process quality checks during sorting, grading, roasting, seasoning, packing, and dispatch operations.
- Ensure compliance with product specifications and quality parameters.
- Monitor product quality, weight accuracy, labeling, and packaging standards.
- Identify, record, and report quality deviations and non-conformities.
- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
- Conduct line clearance before production and packaging activities.
Food Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, GHP, HACCP, and company quality standards.
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards across production and warehouse areas.
- Assist during internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality manuals, and food safety procedures.
- Monitor pest control, cleaning schedules, and sanitation records.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain QA/QC records, inspection reports, batch records, and checklists.
- Prepare daily quality reports and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Maintain calibration records for measuring and testing equipment.
- Assist in preparing audit documentation and quality performance reports.
- Ensure proper record keeping as per company and regulatory requirements.
Production Support
- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchase, and Dispatch teams to maintain product quality.
- Verify product traceability and batch identification.
- Monitor storage conditions for raw materials and finished goods.
- Assist in handling customer complaints related to product quality.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices.
- Understanding of food safety standards such as FSSAI, GMP, GHP, and HACCP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good documentation and reporting abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Qualification
- B.Sc. (Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field) or B.Tech./M.Tech. in Food Technology.
- Diploma in Food Technology or Quality Management may also be considered.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in the Food Processing, FMCG, or Dry Fruits Manufacturing industry.
- Freshers with relevant educational qualifications may also apply for junior-level positions.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
