About the Role
We are looking for a technically strong and experienced Project Manager – MEP to independently manage the complete execution of projects at the assigned location.
The candidate should have good hands-on knowledge of Fire Protection Systems (FPS), Public Health Engineering (PHE) and ELV systems, along with strong site execution and project coordination skills.
The person will be responsible for managing the project from planning and execution through billing, testing, commissioning and final handover, while ensuring completion as per the client's schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage complete MEP project execution at the assigned site.
- Handle FPS, PHE and ELV project activities and coordinate their execution.
- Coordinate with Client, PMC, consultants and other stakeholders.
- Lead and coordinate the site execution team.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and vendors for timely execution and material availability.
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs and project requirements.
- Ensure proper site execution as per approved drawings and technical specifications.
- Monitor project progress against the agreed schedule.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.
- Manage vendors and subcontractors and monitor their performance.
- Coordinate material requirements, procurement and deliveries.
- Handle project measurements, billing and documentation.
- Prepare and maintain project progress reports and schedules.
- Coordinate inspections, testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Ensure quality and proper installation as per project requirements.
- Coordinate snag rectification and ensure timely closure.
- Manage project completion and final handover to the client.
- Take complete ownership of the project and ensure smooth execution from start to handover.
Candidate Profile
- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / related engineering discipline.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in MEP project execution.
- Strong technical knowledge of FPS, PHE and ELV systems.
- Good hands-on experience in site execution and project coordination.
- Experience dealing with clients, PMC/consultants and contractors.
- Good knowledge of vendor and subcontractor management.
- Experience in project billing, measurements and documentation.
- Ability to read and understand MEP drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team-management skills.
- Ability to independently handle a project/site and take ownership of deliverables.
- Candidates who have handled complete MEP projects from execution to handover will be preferred.
