Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-level Maximo applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in configuring Maximo modules, developing custom solutions, and integrating systems to meet business requirements.
This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions within IBM Maximo Asset Management
- Configure and customize Maximo modules to meet business needs
- Develop Automation Scripts, Workflows, and Escalations
- Build and maintain custom integrations using Java, MBO framework, XML, and REST/SOAP APIs
- Work with WebSphere Application Server (WAS) for deployment and application management
- Create and maintain reports using BIRT
- Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Support Maximo upgrades, patches, and ongoing maintenance activities
- Optimize performance and ensure system stability
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in IBM Maximo Development
- Proficiency in:
- Java / Java SDK
- MBO Framework
- XML, REST & SOAP APIs
- Experience with WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
- Knowledge of SAMAL (Single Sign-On frameworks preferred)
- Hands-on experience with BIRT Reporting
- Solid understanding of databases (Oracle / SQL Server)
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Maximo deployment, upgrade, and support processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Maximo integrations and middleware tools
- Exposure to cloud environments or modern integration architectures
- Knowledge of ITIL processes or enterprise asset management best practices
