About the Role
S.N & Company has been building government construction, heritage conservation, and museum projects across UP since 2003 from the Bara Imambara and Chattar Manzil to the Gorkha War Memorial and the Tribal Museum at Chandrika Devi. The work is rich; the storytelling has not kept up.
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to own our digital presence end-to-end — turning construction sites, conservation work, and museum builds into content that earns attention from government clients, industry peers, and the wider design and heritage community.
What You'll Do
Strategy & Planning
- Own the content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and the company website.
- Define the editorial voice credible, design-led, government-appropriate and keep it consistent.
- Set quarterly content goals tied to business outcomes: tender visibility, recruitment, client trust, and brand recall.
Content Production
- Plan and direct shoots at project sites Gorkha Memorial, BNA, Tribal Museum, Jhansi, and others as they come up.
- Write captions, scripts, carousels, and long-form posts; brief and review work from designers and video editors.
- Build content series around recurring themes: heritage conservation case studies, behind-the-scenes of museum builds, project milestones, leadership POVs.
- Produce reels, short-form video, and photo essays; edit basic cuts in-house where needed.
Channel Management
- Schedule, publish, and monitor posts across channels; respond to comments and DMs in the company voice.
- Manage the founder/MD's and Head of Operations' LinkedIn presence — ghostwriting posts, surfacing ideas from internal conversations, building thought leadership in the government-construction and heritage space.
- Coordinate with PR, event partners, and government departments when projects need joint announcements.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track reach, engagement, follower growth, and inbound enquiries; report monthly with what worked, what didn't, and what's next.
- Run light A/B testing on hooks, formats, and posting times.
- Maintain a content archive — raw footage, edited assets, photographs — organised so the company can reuse it for tenders, presentations, and the website.
Vendor & Asset Coordination
- Manage external photographers, videographers, drone operators, and freelance designers.
- Maintain a project image bank with rights, captions, and metadata in order.
What We're Looking For
Must-have
- 2–5 years of social media experience, with a portfolio of channels you have grown (not just contributed to).
- Strong writing in English and Hindi; you can switch register from a LinkedIn thought-piece to an Instagram caption without losing the voice.
- Hands-on with Canva, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere or equivalent), and at least one scheduling tool (Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).
- A real eye for design and photography — you can tell a good frame from a bad one, and brief a shoot.
- Comfort on construction sites and heritage locations; willingness to travel within UP for shoots.
Good to have
- Prior work with architecture, real estate, heritage, museum, or design-led brands.
- Experience ghostwriting on LinkedIn for senior leaders.
- Working knowledge of YouTube SEO, basic Premiere Pro / DaVinci / CapCut editing, and lightweight motion graphics.
- A point of view on Indian design, heritage, and craft and accounts you admire in the space.
What You'll Get
- A blank canvas you are setting up this function, not inheriting someone else's playbook.
- Access to genuinely interesting subject matter: heritage sites, museum builds, government memorials, master craftsmen.
- Direct working relationship with leadership; your work goes live without committee-by-committee approvals.
