Job Summary
The Assistant Accountant is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, processing invoices, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company accounting policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documents.
- Process purchase invoices, sales invoices, and payment vouchers.
- Prepare and update cash book, bank book, and ledger entries.
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
- Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer accounts.
- Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance data as required.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Generate MIS reports and financial statements for management review.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers.
- Maintain employee reimbursement and expense records.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documents.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding accounting matters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Experience with Tally ERP, Busy, SAP, or other accounting software.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
