Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser with 6–8 years of experience in the apparel industry to manage product development, vendor coordination, order execution, and delivery timelines. The candidate will ensure smooth communication between buyers, suppliers, and internal teams while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end merchandising activities from order confirmation to shipment.
- Coordinate with buyers, design teams, and production units for product development and sampling.
- Handle costing, order planning, and negotiation with vendors/suppliers.
- Track production timelines and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Monitor quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Maintain order sheets, purchase orders, and production reports.
- Follow up on sample approvals, fabric sourcing, trims, and accessories.
- Collaborate with logistics and shipping teams for on-time dispatch.
- Analyze sales and production data to optimize merchandising strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile, or related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in apparel merchandising / garment export / retail merchandising.
- Strong knowledge of fabric sourcing, garment construction, and production processes.
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in international buyer handling.
- Knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with trend analysis and product planning.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹66,000.00 per month
