The State Sales Head is responsible for driving overall business growth, dealer expansion, retail sales, institutional sales, team management, and profitability across the assigned state. The role includes developing the dealer network, ensuring achievement of monthly sales targets, strengthening market penetration, and maintaining customer satisfaction while implementing the company's sales strategy. State sales leaders in the EV sector commonly oversee dealer development, financing partnerships, regional marketing, team leadership, and compliance with transport and EV policies.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales Planning & Revenue Generation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans.
- Achieve vehicle sales targets.
- Increase market share within the assigned state.
- Forecast monthly demand and inventory requirements.
- Ensure achievement of primary and secondary sales.
2. Dealer Network Development
- Identify new dealer opportunities.
- Appoint financially strong dealers.
- Conduct dealer feasibility analysis.
- Negotiate dealership agreements.
- Improve dealer profitability.
- Develop rural and semi-urban dealer networks.
3. Channel Management
- Monitor dealer performance.
- Conduct monthly dealer reviews.
- Resolve dealer issues promptly.
- Ensure adequate stock availability.
- Improve dealer satisfaction.
- Maintain dealer ROI.
4. Team Leadership
- Recruit Area Sales Managers and Sales Officers.
- Set KPIs for the sales team.
- Conduct weekly reviews.
- Coach and mentor field staff.
- Monitor daily reporting through CRM.
- Build a high-performance sales culture.
5. Market Expansion
- Identify untapped districts.
- Increase market penetration.
- Develop institutional customers.
- Expand fleet and government sales.
- Generate B2B sales opportunities.
6. Marketing Activities
- Plan road shows.
- Organize vehicle display camps.
- Conduct test-drive events.
- Participate in exhibitions.
- Execute branding activities.
- Coordinate digital marketing campaigns.
7. Customer Relationship Management
- Resolve escalated customer complaints.
- Improve customer satisfaction.
- Monitor delivery timelines.
- Ensure after-sales support.
- Maintain customer retention.
8. Business Development
- Build relationships with:

9. Competition Analysis
- Monitor competitor pricing.

- Analyze market trends.

- Monitor dealer outstanding payments.

- Ensure adherence to company policies.

- Support compliance with state EV policies.
- Maintain documentation and audit readiness.
Pay: Up to ₹70,000.00 per month
