Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Plant Finance Controller with experience in costing, plant finance operations, accounting controls, and SOP implementation in Pharma/Chemical manufacturing industry. The candidate should have strong exposure to manufacturing accounting, inventory controls, cost analysis, and SAP system operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day plant finance and accounting operations.
- Preparation and monitoring of product costing, batch costing, and variance analysis.
- Monitor raw material consumption, production cost, wastage, and inventory valuation.
- Develop and implement accounting SOPs and internal control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with plant finance policies and statutory accounting requirements.
- Coordinate with production, stores, QA, purchase, and commercial departments for finance-related controls.
- Preparation of MIS reports related to production, costing, inventory, and plant performance.
- Verify BOM, material consumption, and stock reconciliation.
- Support monthly closing, audit, and stock verification activities.
- Monitor capex accounting and fixed asset records.
- Ensure proper accounting entries in SAP and maintain data accuracy.
- Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.

- Cost Accountant (CMA)
- CMA Inter
- CA Inter
- Minimum 3 years experience in Plant Finance/Costing in Pharma or Chemical manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Costing
- Inventory accounting
- Manufacturing accounting
- SOP implementation
- Internal controls
- Working knowledge of SAP is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills required.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification:
- CMA / CMA Inter / CA Inter preferred
- B.Com / M.Com with relevant plant finance experience may also be considered
