Roles and Responsibilities
1. Financial Analysis:
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate the financial performance of business units and identify areas for optimization.
- Assist in the preparation of financial models and business cases for investment proposals.
2.Budgeting:
- Assist in the development of annual operating budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with departmental managers to gather budget inputs and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Analyze budget variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
3.Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
4.Management Information Systems (MIS):
- Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of MIS systems.
- Ensure that MIS systems capture relevant financial and operational data accurately.
- Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the effectiveness of MIS systems
5.Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for financial analysis.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and alignment on financial goals.
