Key Responsibilities
- Cover local, social, political, business, and city-related news.
- Visit locations and conduct ground reporting.
- Collect information, facts, photographs, and videos from the field.
- Conduct interviews with officials, public representatives, experts, and citizens.
- Verify facts and sources before submitting news stories.
- Prepare and submit news reports within deadlines.
- Assist the editorial team with digital and social media content.
- Stay updated with current affairs and important developments in Jaipur.
Skills Required
- Excellent command of English and/or Hindi.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence to interact with people and conduct interviews.
- Strong interest in current affairs and news.
- Good news sense and curiosity to find stories.
- Basic knowledge of smartphone photography and video recording.
- Basic understanding of social media and digital journalism will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Jaipur and surrounding areas will be preferred.
