Job Title: Diet Chef
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and health-conscious Diet Chef to prepare nutritious and customized meals based on diet plans prescribed by a Nutritionist. The ideal candidate should have experience in healthy cooking, calorie-controlled meals, therapeutic diets, and meal planning while ensuring excellent taste, presentation, and food quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare meals strictly according to diet charts and instructions provided by the Nutritionist.
- Develop healthy and appealing dishes that meet specific nutritional requirements.
- Ensure accurate portion control and adherence to prescribed calorie and macronutrient targets.
- Prepare meals for clients with specific dietary needs, including weight loss, weight gain, diabetic, low-sodium, high-protein, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and other specialized diets.
- Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Source and manage fresh, high-quality ingredients.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Coordinate with the Nutritionist regarding menu modifications and special dietary requirements.
- Monitor inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain kitchen efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Diet Chef, Healthy Cuisine Chef, Wellness Chef, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of nutrition-based cooking and specialized diets.
- Ability to accurately follow meal plans and nutritional guidelines.
- Knowledge of portion control and healthy cooking techniques.
- Experience in wellness centers, fitness facilities, hospitals, nutrition clinics, meal subscription companies, or private households is preferred.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of hygiene.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
