About the Role
We're hiring energetic, target-driven Field Sales Executives to sell rooftop, commercial & industrial (C&I) solar solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. This is a high-activity field role: you'll generate your own leads, run the sales cycle door-to-door and site-to-site, and close deals with support from our technical and design team. Candidates with field sales experience (solar, electrical, telecom, FMCG, insurance, real estate, or consumer durables) are preferred; strong-communicator freshers are equally encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads through field visits, door-to-door canvassing, cold calling, local networking, referrals, and society/RWA outreach.
- Map residential, commercial, and industrial micro-markets within the assigned territory to identify prospective customers.
- Conduct customer meetings to understand energy consumption, roof/land availability, and budget; explain product benefits, ROI, and payback period.
- Carry out preliminary site assessments and coordinate with the technical/design team for accurate system sizing and proposals.
- Prepare and present quotations/proposals; explain financing, subsidy schemes (e.g., PM Surya Ghar Mufti Bijli Yojana), and net-metering process where applicable.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close sales against monthly lead-generation and revenue/kW targets.
- Maintain and grow the customer pipeline; follow up consistently through to installation handover and post-sale referrals.
- Log all leads, site visits, and follow-ups daily in the CRM; submit accurate field activity and MIS reports.
- Track competitor activity, local pricing, and government policy changes affecting solar adoption.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, campaigns, and promotional events as required.
Eligibility
- Education: Any graduate/diploma; candidates with strong sales experience and minimum intermediate qualification may also be considered.
- Experience: 0–3 years of field/direct sales experience — solar, electrical, telecom, FMCG, banking, insurance, real estate, or consumer durables preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication, confidence, and a willingness to do high-activity field work are welcome.
- Must hold a valid driving license and own a two-wheeler for daily territory travel.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication, negotiation, and consultative-selling skills.
- Fluency in the local/regional language plus working English/Hindi.
- Self-driven, resilient, and comfortable with high daily field activity and rejection-heavy prospecting.
- Basic understanding of solar/rooftop systems and net-metering (training provided).
- Comfortable with smartphones, MS Office, and CRM/lead-tracking tools.
- Target orientation with the ability to independently manage a sales pipeline.
Compensation & Benefits
- Fixed salary: ₹20,000 per month, based on experience.
- Incentives: Uncapped performance-based incentives — high performers typically earn ₹10,000–₹30,000+ per month in addition to fixed pay.

- Clear growth path: Field Sales Executive → Senior Sales Executive → Team Lead → Area Sales Manager.
