The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team by managing customer orders, coordinating with internal departments, maintaining sales records, and ensuring smooth communication between customers and the organization. This role plays a key part in delivering excellent customer service while helping achieve sales targets through efficient coordination and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support daily sales operations.
- Process customer inquiries, quotations, purchase orders, and sales orders accurately.
- Maintain customer records, pricing, and sales data in the ERP/CRM system.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Track order status and proactively communicate updates to customers.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
- Assist the sales team in preparing presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Monitor inventory availability and coordinate delivery schedules.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in coordination with relevant departments.
- Maintain documentation related to sales transactions and customer communications.
- Support marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and promotional activities when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in sales coordination, customer service, or sales administration.
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
