Video Editor & Director of Photography (DOP)
Full-time | On-site Required | Experience: 1 – 2 Years Monthly
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a visual storyteller who can both operate the camera on shoots and edit footage into polished, engaging videos. You will handle everything from concept to final cut for Hike's video content across social media and campaigns.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and execute video shoots — lighting, framing, and camera operation
- Operate DSLR / mirrorless cameras and basic lighting rigs on-site
- Edit short-form videos for Reels, YouTube Shorts, and ad campaigns
- Handle subtitles, music, sound design, and colour grading
- Collaborate with the content team on shoot scripts and storyboards
- Manage and organise raw footage, project files, and asset libraries
- Deliver multiple pieces of content per week, consistently on deadline
REQUIREMENTS
- 1–2 years of hands-on shooting and post-production editing experience
- Proficient with DSLR / mirrorless cameras
- Proficient in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and colour grading
- Ability to independently manage shoots and post-production end-to-end
- Portfolio with both on-ground shoots and polished edited final videos
- Must be comfortable working on-site for all shoot days

Tools: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut (bonus)
Nice to have: Basic After Effects
