ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. This role demands a self-motivated professional with a proven track record in sales and a passion for exceeding targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research. Generate and qualify leads via cold calls, referrals, field visits, and digital channels. Conduct product/service presentations and demonstrations to potential clients. Prepare and submit competitive proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts to closure.
Client Relationship Management Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and referrals. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts; address client queries and resolve concerns promptly. Conduct regular follow-ups and account reviews to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Sales Targets & Reporting Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as defined by management. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions in the CRM system. Prepare periodic sales reports and present performance updates to the Sales Manager.
Market Intelligence Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to refine sales strategies. Provide actionable feedback to the product and marketing teams based on market insights.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field. MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
Experience 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in B2B or B2C sales. Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas. Experience in [industry/product category] is preferred.
Skills & Competencies Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and high energy levels. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho). Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required.
