- Operate, monitor and support production machinery / equipment as per the assigned trade (electrical, mechanical, fitting, welding, instrumentation etc.)
- Carry out routine preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery under supervision.
- Assist in installation, servicing and repair of equipment, motors, panels, pipelines and utilities as applicable to the trade.
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards and minimising downtime.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Report machine faults, safety hazards or quality deviations promptly to the Supervisor / Shift In-Charge.
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards at the workstation and shop floor.
- Maintain basic records – production logs, maintenance registers, checklists etc.
- Support new employees / trainees on the shop floor as required.
- Undertake any other duties assigned by the Supervisor / Plant Manager relevant to the role.
