Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Experience Required: 10–15 years, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the company's financial strategy, operations, and governance. The ideal candidate combines strong banking and fundraising relationships with hands-on command of day-to-day finance — from books and compliance to cash flow and cost control. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the founders/leadership team.
Key ResponsibilitiesFundraising & Banking
- Leverage existing relationships with banks and financial institutions to support the company's capital needs
- Lead fundraising efforts — proven track record of raising funds for a previous organization (debt or equity)
- Negotiate loan terms, interest rates, and credit facilities with banks and lenders
- Manage relationships with investors, banks, and financial partners
Financial Operations & Compliance
- Ensure all statutory and financial compliances (tax, regulatory, ROC, etc.) are completed accurately and on time
- Oversee preparation of accurate books of accounts, balance sheets, and income statements
- Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and tax regulations
- Coordinate and manage financial audits (internal and statutory)
Cash Flow & Cost Management
- Monitor and manage company cash flow to maintain financial stability
- Review and approve purchase requests and vendor spending
- Reconcile and review bank account statements regularly
- Track, analyze, and report on company costs; identify areas for cost optimization
Financial Planning & Reporting
- Design and manage short-term budgets and long-term financial forecasts/projections
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and public filings (as applicable)
- Present financial performance and insights to leadership/board
Strategy, Growth & Risk
- Guide capital allocation decisions to maximize return on investment
- Support strategic growth initiatives including potential IPO planning
- Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and market risks
- Partner with leadership on business strategy from a financial lens
Required Qualifications & Experience
- CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA or equivalent qualification
- 10–15 years of overall experience in finance/accounting roles, including at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership capacity (CFO, Finance Head, Controller, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (CFO, Finance Head, or similar)
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising (debt and/or equity) with strong existing bank relationships
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax compliance, and financial regulations
- Hands-on experience managing audits, books of accounts, and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,400,000.00 per year
