- Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Create tailored educational plans that address the unique needs of each student, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources and support.
- Adapt Curriculum: Modify general education lessons to accommodate students with physical, cognitive, emotional, or social disabilities, using various teaching strategies to promote learning.
- Assess Student Progress: Regularly evaluate and monitor students' academic and social development, adjusting teaching methods and IEPs as necessary to ensure progress.
- Collaborate with Professionals: Work closely with parents, school staff, and other professionals (such as therapists and counselors) to support students' educational and emotional needs.
- Create a Supportive Environment: Foster an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and self-confidence.
