We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to oversee project execution and ensure quality construction standards across residential developments.
Role Overview
The Senior Site Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and executing construction activities while ensuring compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Study and understand Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Services GFC drawings before execution.
- Review technical specifications, BOQ, and approved materials before commencement of work.
- Coordinate with survey teams for benchmarks, levels, and execution layouts.
- Prepare daily and weekly execution plans in line with project schedules.
- Plan manpower, materials, machinery, and tools for smooth site operations.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and approved methods.
- Ensure proper use of construction equipment and safe work practices.
- Conduct regular quality and safety meetings with site teams.
- Ensure adherence to company quality systems, safety procedures, and relevant codes.
- Minimize rework and optimize material utilization.
- Coordinate with supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and workers.
- Identify drawing discrepancies and coordinate solutions with management.
- Resolve technical issues affecting project execution.
- Manage project resources effectively.
- Mentor junior engineers and site staff.
- Monitor costs, budgets, and resource utilization.
- Prepare project reports and progress updates.
- Maintain quality and safety checklists.
- Coordinate project handover, snag rectification, documentation, and client approvals.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of construction site execution experience.
- Strong civil engineering and construction knowledge.
- Experience in residential building projects.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of quality control and safety procedures.
- Strong site coordination and team management skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capability.
Preferred Requirements
- BE Civil or Diploma Civil.
- Apartment project execution experience.
- Knowledge of project planning and cost control.
- Experience handling contractors and subcontractors.
