The Project Planner is responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures projects are planned efficiently, resources are allocated effectively, and work progresses according to the approved timeline while supporting the successful completion of projects within budget and quality standards. We are looking for somebody who can support us from India adaptable to a work from home system.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed project schedules using planning software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent).
- Develop project work breakdown structures (WBS), project milestones, and activity sequences.
- Coordinate with project managers, design teams, procurement, production, and site engineers to prepare realistic project plans.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly.
- Identify critical paths, delays, and potential risks affecting project timelines.
- Prepare recovery plans and recommend corrective actions to minimize schedule slippage.
- Track project progress against baseline schedules and prepare variance analysis reports.
- Generate weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Monitor manpower allocation and resource utilization across projects.
- Participate in project kick-off meetings and progress review meetings.
- Maintain planning records, project documentation, and schedule revisions.
- Support tender planning by preparing preliminary project schedules and resource plans.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and contractual milestones.
- Collaborate with site teams to verify actual progress and update project schedules accordingly.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules (2-week, 4-week, or monthly) to support site execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Primavera P6 or Project Management is an advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years of planning experience, preferably in interior fit-out, joinery, or construction projects.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of interior fit-out project execution.
- Knowledge of construction sequencing and project scheduling techniques.
- Ability to interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: ₹22,875.81 - ₹35,262.95 per month
