Role Overview
The Accounts Manager will oversee the complete accounting function of the organization, including vendor bills, payments, business-wise financial tracking, and timely financial reporting across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts Payable & Bill Management
- Record, verify, and process vendor bills and invoices
- Maintain proper documentation and approval workflows
- Track due dates and ensure timely payments
2. Payments Management
- Execute vendor, salary, and operational payments
- Maintain payment schedules and support cash flow planning
- Ensure accurate accounting of all transactions
3. Business-wise Accounting
- Maintain separate accounts for each business unit
- Track profitability, expenses, and revenue
- Provide periodic financial reports
4. Financial Record Keeping
- Maintain books of accounts (ledger, journal entries, etc.)
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Keep records audit-ready
5. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with auditors and consultants
- Prepare monthly and annual reports
6. Process & Control
- Improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Monitor discrepancies and resolve issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in accounting/finance roles
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial compliance
- Ability to manage multiple business units
