Designation: Manager
Level: L4
Experience: 10 to 12 years
Location: Chennai
Job Description:
We are looking for a visionary Healthcare Subject Matter Expert (SME) to drive the clinical logic, workflow mapping, and evaluation framework for our next-generation Agentic AI healthcare solutions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between advanced multi-agent AI engineering and real-world clinical and operational workflows across the Indian healthcare ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Solutioning & AI Architecture Support: Collaborate with enterprise AI architects to define the logic, datasets, and decision-making workflows for autonomous AI agents, ensuring they mirror real-world hospital and clinical workflows accurately.
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Medicine (MBBS, MD, BDS), Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Management (MHA/MBA), or Health Informatics.
- Core Experience: 8 to 10 years of professional experience within healthcare delivery systems, leading health-tech startups, or healthcare IT consulting firms.
- Domain Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of hospital operations, Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and patient care pathways.
- Workflow Mapping & Transformation: Translate complex medical scenarios, clinical pathways, Electronic Health Record (EHR) data structures, and billing/revenue cycle management (RCM) sequences into clear functional specifications for technology teams.
- Clinical Safety & Validation: Design and execute validation frameworks, clinical grading rubrics, and red-teaming protocols to test LLM/Agentic AI performance. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks related to AI hallucinations, clinical bias, and edge-case exceptions.
- Regulatory & Standards Compliance: Guide the development teams on medical informatics and interoperability data standards, including FHIR, HL7, SNOMED-CT, ICD-10/11, and India-specific compliance protocols like the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) and the DPDP Act.
- Client Advisory & Change Management: Interact directly with healthcare CXOs (Chief Medical Officers, hospital directors, health-tech heads) to present AI roadmaps, demonstrate technical capability, and manage the transition toward AI-augmented workflows.
- Asset & IP Development: Contribute to Accenture's reusable asset library by documenting best practices, creating standardized clinical prompt books, and designing template agent blueprints for common care paths (e.g., triage, chronic disease management, automated clinical reporting).
Skills:
- Deep familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR/HL7 API models).
- Proven experience working across cross-functional matrix teams comprising data scientists, software engineers, and corporate leadership.
- Excellent communication skills to distill complex clinical jargon into developer-friendly logic, and vice versa.
- Prior experience deploying automation, RPA, or conversational AI tools inside a major hospital network (Tier-1 or corporate chains).
- Familiarity with Cloud Healthcare APIs (AWS HealthLake, Google Cloud Healthcare API, or Azure API for FHIR).
