We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Mathematics Teacher to provide high-quality instruction to students from Grades 6–12 (CBSE/ICSE/State Board/IGCSE/IB/NEET/JEE Foundation, as applicable). The ideal candidate should have strong mathematical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to make mathematical concepts engaging, practical, and easy to understand.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to individual students and small batches.
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the relevant curriculum.
- Explain mathematical concepts using logical, step-by-step methods.
- Develop lesson plans, practice worksheets, assignments, and revision materials.
- Conduct regular assessments, quizzes, and mock examinations.
- Identify students' strengths and learning gaps, providing targeted support where needed.
- Prepare students for school examinations, board examinations, and competitive exams (if applicable).
- Encourage analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Monitor student progress and maintain attendance and academic records.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance.
- Foster a positive, engaging, and disciplined learning environment.
- Participate in faculty meetings, training programmes, and academic planning sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- B.Ed. is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
- Fresh graduates with excellent academic records and strong teaching aptitude are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Statistics, Probability, Calculus, and Coordinate Geometry (based on the curriculum taught).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts for learners of varying abilities.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools, interactive boards, and online learning platforms.
- Ability to motivate students and build confidence in Mathematics.
- Good organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
Working Hours
- Evening Classes: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Weekdays)
- Weekend Classes: Saturday and/or Sunday (as scheduled)
- Approximately 8–20 hours per week, depending on batch allocation.
