Design & Development Create 2D & 3D models of castings, tooling, and components using CAD software (e.g., UniGraphics NX/UG). Prepare and modify casting drawings in line with customer requirements and industry standards. Proficiency in CAD tools (UG/NX, AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks). Understanding of metallurgy, material properties, and heat treatment processes. Familiarity with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and cost optimization techniques. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgical Engineering. 1-5 years of experience in foundry design or related manufacturing industries. Experience in automotive or heavy engineering components preferred.
