Job Description – Inventory Management Executive
Location: New Town, Kolkata
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Inventory Management Executive to manage inventory planning, stock control, procurement support, dispatch coordination, and inventory reporting.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in inventory/warehouse management, preferably within FMCG, Food & Beverage, QSR, Bakery, Retail, or similar businesses.
Key Responsibilities1. Inventory Planning & Control
- Monitor daily stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Plan stock requirements based on consumption, sales, and outlet requirements.
- Track fast-moving and slow-moving SKUs.
- Identify stock shortages, excess inventory, and potential stock-outs.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
- Monitor inventory turnover and maintain optimum stock levels.
2. Dispatch & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate daily dispatches to multiple outlets/franchisees.
- Ensure correct quantity, SKU, and batch are dispatched.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for timely deliveries.
- Track dispatches and resolve delivery-related issues.
- Maintain dispatch accuracy and on-time delivery.
3. Procurement Support
- Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams for stock replenishment.
- Prepare purchase/replenishment requirements based on inventory levels.
- Follow up on purchase orders and expected delivery dates.
- Monitor vendor-related stock and delivery issues.
4. Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports.
- Maintain stock reconciliation and variance reports.
- Track wastage, spoilage, expiry, and damaged stock.
- Maintain proper documentation and inventory records.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable, especially for perishable products.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Procurement, Finance, Vendors, and Outlet/Franchise teams.
- Communicate stock availability and dispatch schedules.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies and operational issues quickly.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in inventory/warehouse management.
- Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, QSR, Bakery, Retail, or similar industries preferred.
- Working knowledge of Tally, SAP, ERP, or similar inventory management software.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including stock analysis and reporting.
- Experience handling multiple outlet dispatches is preferred.
- Basic understanding of perishable goods, shelf life, FIFO/FEFO, wastage and expiry management.

Compensation
₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on relevant experience and skills.
Candidates who have direct hands-on inventory management experience will be preferred.
