Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Metallurgist to oversee heat treatment processes, material analysis, and quality control activities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in metallurgy, coating processes, and quality standards, along with good communication and decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control heat treatment (HT) and aging processes
- Perform metallurgical testing and analysis
- Conduct hardness testing (Vickers, Rockwell)
- Use microscopes for microstructure analysis
- Perform Millipore testing and coating inspection
- Ensure adherence to CQI standards (CQI-9, CQI-11, CQI-12)
- Implement and maintain IATF 16949 quality standards
- Maintain furnace operations and process parameters
- Prepare inspection reports and documentation
- Coordinate with production and quality teams
Technical Knowledge Required
- CQI-9, CQI-11, CQI-12 standards
- 9-point study (Heat Treatment process control)
- Heat treatment and aging processes
- Microscope operation and microstructure evaluation
- Hardness testing (Vickers, Rockwell)
- Furnace operation and control
- Millipore testing
- Coating processes and inspection
- IATF 16949 policy and implementation
