Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and patient-focused Phlebotomist to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples, ensuring proper specimen handling, and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples from patients safely and accurately.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and transportation of specimens.
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols.
- Maintain patient comfort and professionalism during sample collection.
- Support laboratory testing by ensuring specimen quality and accuracy.
- Keep records and documentation updated as required.
- Handeling reports and handover timely to the paitaient.
- Relevant qualification/certification in Phlebotomy or Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
