Senior HR Executive
About the role
We are seeking a proactive Senior HR Executive to support HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and strategic HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, HR policies, payroll coordination, and compliance. This role partners with managers to improve people processes and drive employee engagement.
Key responsibilities
Full-cycle recruitment: create job descriptions, source candidates (job portals, social media, referrals), screen resumes, conduct interviews, coordinate assessments, and manage offer negotiation and onboarding.
Employee onboarding and exit: manage induction programs, documentation, probation reviews, exit interviews, and final settlements.
Employee relations: act as a point of contact for employee queries, resolve grievances, conduct investigations, and recommend corrective actions.
HR policies and compliance: implement and maintain HR policies, ensure statutory compliance (ESI, PF, professional tax, labor laws), and support audits.
Compensation & benefits support: coordinate payroll inputs with finance or payroll vendors, maintain benefits administration (leaves, reimbursements, insurance), and assist with salary reviews.
Performance management: support goal-setting cycles, performance appraisals, training needs identification, and follow-up on performance improvement plans.
HR administration & records: maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, contracts, and HR metrics/reporting (attrition, hiring time, headcount).
Learning & development: coordinate training programs, vendor management, and onboarding upskilling initiatives.
Employee engagement: plan and execute engagement activities, recognition programs, and culture-building initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s or MBA (HR) preferred.
4–7 years of progressive HR experience; experience as HR Executive / HR Generalist preferred.
Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
Proficiency with HRIS/HRMS and MS Excel; experience with ATS and payroll software is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
Strong problem-solving, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
