- Operate CNC Laser Cutting Machine for MS, GI and other sheet metal materials.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and cutting requirements.
- Load and unload sheets/materials safely and correctly.
- Check and verify CNC programs, cutting parameters and material specifications before production.
- Set appropriate laser power, cutting speed, gas pressure and other machine parameters.
- Monitor the machine during operation and identify abnormal sounds, errors or cutting issues.
- Inspect the cut components for dimensions, quality, burrs, slag and edge finish.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, measuring tape and other inspection tools.
- Maintain proper identification and traceability of materials and finished components.
- Minimize material wastage through proper nesting and utilization of sheets.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of the machine.
- Maintain proper housekeeping around the machine and follow 5S practices.
- Report machine breakdowns, tool/nozzle issues and quality problems to the supervisor or maintenance team.
- Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.
- Maintain production records, rejection records and machine-related checklists.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores and Maintenance teams as required.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
