About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Trainee to support data management, reporting, and business analytics activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Advanced Excel and Power BI, with an interest in working with data to generate meaningful insights and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Work extensively on Advanced Excel for data management, analysis, reporting, and MIS preparation.
- Create, update, and maintain Excel-based reports, trackers, and dashboards.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to support business reporting requirements.
- Modify and create new Power BI dashboards as required by stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Generate periodic reports and provide insights based on business data.
- Collaborate with different teams to understand reporting needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Support management with ad-hoc reports and analytical requests.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Charts, IF Functions, Data Validation, etc.).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of data management and reporting.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
Eligibility
- Graduate or final-year student in any discipline (B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Sc., MBA, or related fields preferred).
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Prior internship/project experience in MIS, reporting, or data analytics will be an advantage.
