Job Purpose
The Store Manager is responsible for the overall performance and smooth operations of the store. This includes achieving sales targets, delivering an excellent customer experience, managing inventory, maintaining visual merchandising standards, leading the store team, and ensuring compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Performance
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Drive conversion, average bill value (ABV), units per bill (UPB), and customer repeat purchases.
- Monitor daily sales performance and take corrective actions when required.
- Plan and execute local marketing activities to increase footfall.
- Ensure all promotions and offers are implemented correctly.
2. Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
- Ensure every customer receives prompt assistance and product recommendations.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and within company guidelines.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
3. Store Operations
- Ensure the store opens and closes on time.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and overall store presentation.
- Ensure all operational SOPs are followed.
- Monitor billing accuracy and smooth POS operations.
- Coordinate with warehouse, accounts, IT, and head office for operational requirements.
4. Team Management
- Lead, motivate, and develop the store team.
- Prepare staff duty rosters and manage attendance.
- Conduct daily briefings before store opening.
- Train staff on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.
- Monitor employee performance and provide regular feedback.
5. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock records.
- Ensure proper inward and outward of merchandise.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
- Minimize stock loss, damages, and pilferage.
- Report stock discrepancies immediately.
6. Visual Merchandising
- Ensure the store follows company VM guidelines.
- Display merchandise attractively.
- Maintain proper size and colour sequencing.
- Ensure mannequins, displays, and promotional materials are updated regularly.
7. Cash & Compliance
- Ensure accurate daily cash reconciliation.
- Follow all billing and cash handling procedures.
- Prevent fraud and unauthorized transactions.
- Maintain statutory and company compliance.
- Ensure all required registers and documents are updated.
8. Reporting
- Submit daily sales reports.
- Share customer feedback with the Area Sales Manager.
- Report operational issues promptly.
- Monitor KPIs and prepare action plans for improvement.

Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- 3–5 years of retail experience.
- Minimum 1–2 years as a Store Manager in apparel or fashion retail preferred.

Authority
The Store Manager is authorized to:
- Allocate daily responsibilities to store staff.
- Manage store operations within company policies.
- Resolve customer issues within approved limits.
- Recommend hiring, training, rewards, and disciplinary actions to the Area Sales Manager.
- Initiate stock verification and operational improvements when required.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
