Position Description: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright and Mobile Testing (Android & iOS) to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for web and mobile applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms.
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and cross-platform testing to validate application quality and stability.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
- Identify, analyze, document, and track defects through resolution, working closely with development teams to ensure timely fixes.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in UI automation using Playwright (Mandatory) or Selenium
- Experience in mobile automation testing for iOS and Android platforms
- Proficiency in at least one programming language:
o TypeScript (Mandatory)
o Java
o Python
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and QA best practices
- Experience in writing, executing, and maintaining automated test cases
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Good to Have
- Experience in Airlines domain or travel-based applications
- Exposure to ACCELQ AI automation tool
- Knowledge of Accessibility Testing (a11y)
- Experience with Robot Framework or similar automation tools
